The building of Provincial administration was built in 1934 – 1936, designed by Czech architect Anton Krupka in the style of “constructivism”. This style originated in the 20-30 years of the twentieth century and was different from others by new look at simple things. In the architecture an attention is paid not to the rigor of geometry and the simplicity and comfort of the building, symbolizing a new era of democratic relations. The sizes of buildings are following: length – 94 meters, 6 floors, 13 entrance doors, two patios and elevators. Inside, thanks to carefully placed windows and glass doors the whole interior is permeated with sunlight. Stairs and hallways lined with colored marble. Now Regional Administration and Executive Committee of the Transcarpathian region are located in the house.
