The festival is hosted by “Lautari”, the regional association of Roma music culture. For the first time the festival was held in 1997 as a national jazz festival, and then in 1998, the festival gained international status. The Jazz Forum “Pop-Jazz-Fest” has been held in Uzhhorod for 19 years.
