In 2016 Uzhhorod revived its wine festival and presented the best samples of young Transcarpathian wine from that year’s harvest from renowned winemakers of the region. The new wine, due to its short period of fermentation, gives connoisseurs a unique taste and lightness.
In addition to a wide range of wines at the festival, it will also feature Carpathian cuisine, various honey products and souvenirs. Experts acquaint visitors with the history of wine in Transcarpathia, traditions of wine consumption and the unique features of a professional winemaker.
